Our exhibition celebrating the obsessive, idiosyncratic nature of the studio potter has opened at Volt Gallery and Project Space 69 Seaside Road, Eastbourne and runs through until 4th July, Volt is open every Thursday to Sunday from 11am to 5pm.
'The mark of the maker and the maker's mark' is an interactive exhibition, intended for visitors to collaborate on. Certain elements on display invite viewers to interfere, experiment and surreptitiously make a mark of their own. During the course of the exhibition the altered works will be fired back at our studio and returned to the gallery to add to the installation.
We'll be leading five low cost workshops during the exhibition on Sundays from 12 to 2pm looking at different ways to make your mark with clay. The workshops are limited to 8 places and can be booked through our bookings page at £10 per person for each 2 hour session.
